Since 1932, Mikhail Prekhner collaborated with the magazine “USSR at the construction site”, where his colleagues were such representatives of the avant-garde in photography as A. Rodchenko and B. Ignatovich. These authors, and in particular Prechner, were looking for new techniques and forms: unusual sharp angles, shooting from above or below, diagonal compositions.
