Igor Gnevashev worked with almost all the masters of Russian cinema, and his photos became the business cards of films.
Sometimes the photos taken by Gnevashev in the break between filming, inspired the Directors to new plot twists. This was during the filming of the film “Ivan Vasilievich: Back to the Future”. Yuri Yakovlev decided to retire and listen to a tape recorder. The photographer noticed the actor doing this and took a photo. The scene made Leonid Gaidai laugh so much that the episode with the Tsar listening to a tape recorder was decided to be included in the film.
