Elliott Erwitt is a member of the famous Magnum Agency, a classic of American photography, and one of the most successful and influential photographers of our time. Erwitt’s work is characterized by subtle humor. The photographer believes that you need to find something interesting in the most ordinary place, that it doesn’t matter what we see — it’s important how we see.
“The work I do is awfully simple,” Erwitt remarked in 1988, ” I watch, I try to have fun, but first of all I need images that represent emotions. There is little else that interests me in photography.”
