Ruth Orkin lived in Israel for two and a half months. There she took many famous photos, in particular a photo-story about a little girl named Tirza. In the photo, Tirza is leaning on two sinks, looking in the mirror. Subsequently, Ruth Orkin often photographed the girl in the mirror, trying to convey to the viewer her excitement and spontaneity.
