Boris Ignatovich’s photograph “Shower” served as the basis for the famous social realism artist Alexander Deineka’s painting “After the battle”, created between 1937 and 1942. Deineka was not only interested in photography, but also engaged in it professionally. In addition, it is known that he was a big admirer of Boris Ignatovich’s photography, and Ignatovich personally gave the artist this work.
