In this work, made for the advertising campaign of the first Fendi fragrance, Sheila Metzner paraphrases the ancient Greek myth of Pygmalion and Galatea: the sculptor created a beautiful statue and fell in love with it, and the statue came to life and became the wife of Pygmalion. In Sheila Metzner, the heroine of a perfume ad kisses a statue, which then comes to life and turns into a man.
