The model for this photo was Pascal Leroy, a soloist of the American ballet of modern dance Smuin. In the creative baggage of Shatz there is a large series of works dedicated to dance. The author himself notes: “Dancers are a photographer’s dream. Even more than outstanding athletes, they have a natural and well-developed ability to move.”
