Stepanov made many of his famous works as a photojournalist. In 1957, several of his works were published in “Vechernaya Moskva”, then he began to collaborate with the magazine “Sovetskoe foto”, and from 1958 — to work in the TASS photo chronicle. In 1963, Stepanov photographed the shooting of “Blue light” TV show. This photo shows the actress Klara Luchko.
