With the onset of the thaw era, the approach to photography, in particular, architectural photography, has also changed. If the previous generation of photographers shot architecture in a monumental way, mostly with general plans, then the authors of the 1960s, including Nikolai Rakhmanov, were looking for new solutions. One of the most striking examples of new searches is this photo of the hotel “Russia”.
