In this photo of the courtyard in Pankratyevsky lane, as well as many other Stepanov’s photos, author shows a Moscow that no longer existed. Thanks to these works, in which the author subtly captured the texture of time and details of everyday life, we have unique photographic evidence of old Moscow.
