Harold Feinstein took this photo in 1949, when he was 18 years old. He recalls, “In those days, a person with a camera was a rarity, and some people shouted at me:” Hey, mister, take us down!”. Which I did. This photo is an icon of that time, a symbol of youth and fun that reigned on Coney island.”
